Glute and hip stretches
Stretches for the deep and outer parts of the buttocks and around the hip joint. Choose from a figure-four lying on your back or on a chair through to versions on the floor.
How to choose
- To begin with, choose stretches done lying on your back or on a chair. These make it easier to hold your position without rounding your lower back.
- Even within the buttocks, where you feel the stretch changes with the direction the knee points and the angle at which the legs cross. Compare how each side feels.
