Hinge the trunk backwards from the hips while raising the arms overhead.

Preparation

Sit on the box with the feet supported by the fixed front strap and a ring held in front of the chest. Support both sitting bones.

Check your equipment manual and the setup taught by your instructor. Model spring colours and dimensions are not equipment settings.

2. Movement

Hinge the trunk backwards from the hips while raising the arms overhead.

3. Observe

Maintain length from the pelvis to the head. The displayed shoulder angle is not a required range for every person.

4. Complete the cycle

Keep the back long as the arms and trunk return to sitting.
