Preparation
Support the lower forearm on the carriage in a side-lying position. Place the upper, selected foot on the bar and bend the lower leg for support.
Check your equipment manual and the setup taught by your instructor. Model spring colours and dimensions are not equipment settings.
Four movement phases
1. Set up

Breathing example: Breathe comfortably
2. Movement
Extend the upper knee and hip to press against the bar.
Breathing example: Exhale
3. Observe
Avoid sinking into the supporting shoulder.

4. Complete the cycle
Support the trunk through the forearm and bend the upper knee to return.
Breathing example: Inhale
